Five things the current owners love about their home:
Our home is our sanctuary. We have created different rooms for our own needs as well as enjoy the spaces together.
Love the hallway, sitting under the staircase with a book and enjoying the period features, the light coming through the stain glass feature windows. Very relaxing and tranquil.
Spend most of our time relaxing at night in this room. Good sized room with gorgeous corn-acing period features. Cosy at night, light and airy during the day. Room decorated with grey walls and accessorised with green and ochre, to bring out the view from the bay window. In the summer it is relaxing to sit in and take in the view and appreciate the colour of each season. It's also quiet here and great for family entertaining.
3. Dining Room
Our 1920s Art Deco dining room / parlour. Feels like a million miles from our lounge. And a different era. Fantastic for family evening meals and entertaining, relaxing with a book or music.
Quiet, peaceful and great for exercise, yoga, or simply chilling out. We have used this space as a guest room with en-suite bathroom. Feels like a different house and the view from the attic is fantastic.
5. The Garage
We have made this into a games room / art studio. Great place to go and do creative projects, or hang out and play pool / darts listen to music. Features ample electrical sockets, overhead strip lighting and wall lighting. An outside light on timer and a heater with timer. This has been our saviour during the ongoing lockdown restrictions. Gives the sense of being away from home when working or socialising.
