Mawgan Porth: Newquay airport Cornwall Airport (Newquay) 2.5 miles, Newquay 5.5 miles, Padstow 8.5 miles, Bodmin Parkway Station 21 miles, Truro 20.5 miles. (All distances approximate).

From Truro take the A30 eastwards, until the A39 slip road signposted to Wadebridge. Keep left and at Highgate roundabout take first left. Stay on A39 until Trekenning roundabout, take the first exit and continue on the A 3059 until the right turn to Newquay airport on the B 3276. Go past the airport to a T junction where turning right will bring you down into Mawgan Porth.

Just past the beach ascend the hill and follow the road round to the left. A short distance after the bend, the entrance to Gwel-an-Mor will be found on the left. Proceed down the road, then turn left again and the driveway to Arundell will be found on the left hand side.
