Description

Welcome to Plum Trees............

Located in the very desirable village of Bassetts Pole in Sutton Coldfield, this one off, bespoke new build family home is available to view now from Plan.
Extending to around 2000 sq ft this is a generously proportioned dormer style home, with the added option of entirely ground floor living.
Being in the early stages of construction, the buyer can determine the layout and finish to their own specific requirements.

With an open plan foregarden, the property is accessed by a dropped curb to the front. This leads to driveway parking for multiple cars and the generous single garage to the side.
Upon entering the property - which has under floor heating throughout - via a porch way you will be led into a fantastic vaulted ceiling open hallway, with doors off, to the ground floor living space and stairs to the first floor master bedroom suite. There are two double bedrooms to the front, both with an ensuite and also a cloakroom.
There is a room set to the rear with flexibility in terms of its use between a further master bedroom suite, family room or kitchen area.
The Open Plan lounge-kitchen-diner is accessed via double doors off the hallway and will be an impressive space with its vaulted ceiling, patio doors with full height windows, overlooking the rear garden. To the first floor is the master bedroom with ensuite off having windows to the front, and a velux style window to the ceiling. To the outside is a sweeping garden from the side of the garage to the rear of the property.

Plum Trees offers a fantastic opportunity for a purchaser to personalise and finish this beautiful home to suit their own lifestyle. With direct access to the flexible local builder, who will be fitting out to an already high standard, this is a unique opportunity to create the home, that you've always wanted.

As interest is expected to be very high please call to arrange a on-site inspection or simply for more information at this early stage.

Location

Sutton has a lot of features that make it a haven for house hunters, including acres of beautiful green space. The area is home to Sutton Park, one of the largest urban parks in England measuring over 2,000 acres. The park is a jewel in the crown of the Royal Town and is a national nature reserve as well as a site of special scientific interest and a scheduled ancient monument.

The park has open heathland, woodlands, seven lakes, wetlands, and marshes - each with its own rich variety of plants and wildlife, some rarely seen in the region - there are even cattle and wild ponies that graze on the land. Activities in the park include sailing, canoeing, fishing, golf, cycling and horse riding.

Despite having such a huge area of parkland, Sutton Coldfield still has a bustling town centre - with the biggest amount of places to shop and eat outside of city centre in Birmingham.
There are three distinct shopping environments provided by the Red Rose Centre, The Mall and New Hall Walk. The Restaurant Quarter has a cosmopolitan mix of independent and chain eateries, offering everything from Spanish and Italian to Greek and Bangladeshi. There are currently over 22 bars, clubs and pubs in the town centre so there plenty of opportunities to enjoy the nightlife.

Sutton is also notable for being a great area for families. There are a number of great schools in Sutton, including Boldmere Junior School, which was named as one of the top primary schools in the whole of Birmingham in 2016. Students in secondary schools across Sutton regularly perform well in exams, with students in Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School, The Arthur Terry School, and Highclare School all gaining high percentages of A* - C grades over the past few years.

In 2011, Sutton Coldfield was named as one of the best places to raise children in the whole of the Uk.
