  • Type: Bungalow
  • Bedrooms: 3
  • Listing status: sale
  • Country: England

An increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a 3 bedroom non estate detached bungalow that requires modernisation. Positioned within good sized surrounding gardens with detached garage, the property benefits from delightful water views over Falmouth Bay, including Pendennis and St Mawes Castles.

The property was originally built circa 1929 and has remained in the ownership of the same family since 1963,52 years ago. It requires complete restoration throughout and will suit those looking for a project and is ideal for the developer, builder or family buyer either as a permanent or second home.
The location of the plot has easy access for materials and delivery to the property as wells as benefitting from a main sewerage supply with other easements already on site. This is a rare commodity due to the nature of the geography and other road accesses in the village, thus helping to keep build costs down.
Bay View, as its name depicts, has delightful views over Falmouth Bay, St Mawes Harbour, the village, surrounding countryside and encompasses both St Mawes and Pendennis Castles. Being located on the eastern side of the village, the property and its gardens capture the morning, afternoon and evening sun until the sun sets.
The property is conveniently located within 600 yards of the local central village amenities. Summers Beach, tranquil river walks, sailing facilities including moorings in the Percuil River are within a short walk.
An early appointment to view internally is strongly advised since we anticipate a lot of interest, given recent similar property sales in comparable locations in the village.
